(...) Thanks Rafe! Much appreciated. I was intrigued when I saw the title of the post in Italian. Jonathan (17 years ago, 7-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains)

If they are still using IR (i.e. line of sight) for communications, forget it. If they go to some kind of non line of sight control (e.g. whatever the Fischer-Price GeoTrax system is using), I will consider it. (17 years ago, 8-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains)

Hi all, See below. I'm not sure how many of you read the Italian posts and I don't know if this is old news, but I didn't see this in Trains so I thought I would post. This is the English translation; I snipped the Italian since my Italian is a good (...) (17 years ago, 7-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains) !

  Resetting TachoCount in LCP

Hi, I'm wondering how to reset a tachometer via the Lego Communication Protocol. Hallo I´ve just heart that the Mindstorm Series will be stoped for the sake of the spybot? Is this true, if yes we just have to start a fight for the survival of our RCX Sascha (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: reply framing in firmdl3/rcx_comm.c

--- From: Kekoa Proudfoot [via Pat LaVarre] ... About message framing, I would not say that the designers at Lego had something specific in mind for RCX-to-PC messages. Framing for those messages is very ad-hoc. One thing which is very useful is the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
