  Re: How to turn LEDs on/off ?

(...) Sure it does. They emit infrared light -- they're part of its IR communication system. (22 years ago, 10-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) Jag redan såg den, jag läser lugnet.loc.se :-) (...) No, not if you do everything in sequence. I'd try this first, because it is simpler. (...) Then it is always multitasking, one task on each RCX. (...) You can make one task for each motor of (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: CM-RCX comm (Anyone using Scout->MicroScout/CodePilot ?)

(...) Yes, I understand. Lego created VLL for barcode reading (CodePilot, and then MicroScout). Barcode reading is error prone, so are other forms of serial communication. Through the use of the VLL Checksum bits and timeouts, one can invalidate bad (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Status Report: 1) Ok, just got my RIS 1.0 set (AT LAST! ;) 2) My first tests with the two pBricks (CyberMaster and RCX) prove that it's possible to communicate using a (ten times) slower version of VLL protocol (I call it SlowVLL for short). *It (...)   Re: MOC: Friendship 2004: Manned ('Figged) Mission to Mars

Hi Tony, So far I think this is the second entry I see for the retieval contest. This one is much more realistic than the horse we saw before! I like the "upgrade Apollo" feel you put in this MOC. The modular design seems to be well thought. Great (...) (22 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Palm Pilot & Scout

(...) Greg and Bernard The Scout and the RCX use a non standard IR communication protocol so the Palm cannot communicate directly. Some neat things can be done though.   NQC & Spybot subroutine code generation bug

I have just received a report from a user that NQC programs containing subroutines do not execute correctly against the Spybot platform. I have confirmed that this is a problem with all versions of NQC which support the Spybot brick. This program: (...) I just got the ROBOLAB sw and am attempting to use it on a Mac G3 with MacOS 8.6 .   Re: Palmpilot and RCX

(...) It hardly seems necessary, and frankly there's probably not enough of a market to actually go through the R&D phase. It should be quite possible to do IR communication with the RCX/Scout/What have you via Palm IR and/or Omniremote IR. (26 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Palmpilot and RCX
