  bi-directional optical brick-to-brick communication

Connection NXT to the RCX is not obvious. Here is a simple idea that we first realized as an experimental setup with 2 RCXs that can easily be turned into a bi-directional connection between intelligent bricks using only one port on each brick. The (...) (18 years ago, 23-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: NXT Robot Swarm at BrickFest -- featuring Bluetooth

The NXT Robot Swarm has been scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 in Junior Ballroom 3. It seems the goal of this first event is to get some basic BT communication working, and if there's time, actually try a swarm-like experiment. If anything else, it (...)   Spybots communication

Hello, how can I establish communication between Spybots. I’ve found “SendSpybotMessage” function in extended John Hansen‘s spybot api, but I don’t know how to use it.   Controlling up to 3 manas from 1 spybot!

Based on some code i found around here from John Barnes i rewrote his RCX2Manas control. Now it is cappable to control 3 manas units from 1 single spybot. The next NQC code drives the motors of all of them just for demo.. You can build your own (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

You may check out javastorms at www.javastroms.org. The project seem to be abandoned, but the code is available. Basically it does what you aim for so it should be a good starting point.   Re: Spybotic control of train speed regulator

(...) I am using the Spybot remote - have not tried the RCX remote. I like the idea of using the Spybot for turnout control (and free-ing up RCX for other stuff), but the Spybot body is so large.
