New World Record set at LLCA

Legoland California set a new world record today. They built the world's tallest Lego tower. The tower is made up of over 500,000 LEGO bricks is over 90 feet tall breaking the previous record of 89 feet held by LEGOLAND in Denmark. This tower took 3 (...)   Re: Mirage

Wow! I saw that earlier on BrickShelf. Very nice! Simple, elegant (the use of one main color, no printed slopes or bricks, not so many greebles), this ship looks very compact, pretty strong. Maybe massive... Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  My BrickFest moments

Hi- Inspired by Jake's post some months back for "great LEGO moments", here's a list of personal moments from BrickFest PDX 2004: 1. Checking in at LAX with 7 travel cases (plus carry ons), the agent asks "What's in the bag?". I say "LEGO". Next (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !!

LEGO pursues Mega Bloks via Quatro bricks: WSJ story

In today's (2/4/04) Wall Street Journal there is an interesting story claiming the LEGO Company has lost ground to MegaBloks in the pre-school/toddler space and shall attempt to regain market share via the new Quatro bricks.   How do you store your instructions?

My collection has gotten to the point where tossing the instructions from all the sets into a cardboard box just isn't working any more. There is a lot of information about how to store bricks, but not much on the subject of instructions. So, does (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.general)

And remember that you do not have to be local to a Lego store to take advantage of PaB! Give them a call, they are happy to ship cups of bricks.
