  Re: US S@H Phone Specials 1/11/99 - 1/17/99

Well, it's a good thing I called REALLY early this morning and got my 2. BTW, I have about 10 too many 1x16 yellow beams now, want to trade them, but I will ONLY trade for 1x16 or 1x14 black Technic beams or 1x16 black bricks. I'll trade 1-for-1 on (...)   (most of) 1999 Adventurer's theme review

This isn't quite a full theme review, because I can't find either 5956 (the airship) or 5902 (raft). The airship I'm not expecting to be much of a loss, the raft I would like to see. But otherwise, I'm treating it as a theme review. Overall rating: (...) (26 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: IR Port as Proximity detector.

Just thought I would throw up yet another code sample for proximity detection. With the following code, and my Light sensor mounted 4 bricks above the RCX, I get the following raw values in a dimly lit room with about 1 inch between the RCX and the (...) (...) And what are those pieces holding the new canopies in place? Looks like there are at least two different holder-bricks: a 1x1 with a top connector for the X-wing and Y-wing, and then a 1x2 with a side connector for the Snow Speeder. Steve (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  FS 1997 Promo sets

Hi all, I've found a source of the following 1997 promo sets. Is anyone interested in these. I'm offering them for $5.00 each plus postage. Supplies are limited and some sets are very limited so if you want one of each, email asap. 2845 Indian Chief (...) (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) I thought so too, but several frustrated hours (and designs) later, I concluded they were. This is mostly because I was trying for a solid spiral, not an open-below (I did play with one or two designs, but Katrine's is cleaner). The open-below (...)   The virtues of the 1x1 with side stud (was Re: MSP Fest?

  Initial building of 5571 trailer

Well I did a proof of concept layout tonight for the trailer for 5571 Monster Big Rig. Though I initially was looking to use 1x6 and 1x8 black bricks, 1x4's actually work very well and are much more common. If you have any black 1x4's for sale or (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
