Re: *NEW* LEGO brick-ish Transformers by Hasbro: BTR line

(...) Hi Andrew: I've been casually following the BTR product line for GI Joe, but I've found annoyingly little information online except for a few pictures, and none of my local retailers seem to know anything about them. I suppose this is a Hasbro (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  RE: DAT voting page up

(...) Yes, there is a huge amount of studs hiding inside other bricks. Anybody got an intelligent algorithm? This would be applicable for LDLite too and save a lot of unnecessary rendering. However, watch out for transparent bricks... /Lars (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Do you separate old vs. new LEGO?

(...) I do not segregate new from old. In fact, I like the variation of wear/scratches/dirt that old bricks have. IMO, it makes buildings look more realistic. A building of all brand new bricks is just too shiny and pristine for me. (26 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.build)

It means that the two weight bricks I have on order will weigh more or less the equivalent of 46 2x4 bricks, which is probably close enough (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jun-07, to lugnet.trains)

(...) track of how many of each brick size I used in each layer. The results are on Brickshelf at the above address. In brief, I used about 1550 red bricks for the exterior and about 950 other bricks for internal support. HTH, John Gramley (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: AND gate brick?

Hi. I sincerely doubt that LEGO has ever released logic bricks. However, I think that it is a great idea. However, a two input NAND brick and a bridge would be much more useful. As for symbols. Are you refering to the traditional pictorial symbols (...) (25 years ago, 24-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Just make sure you refer to them as "legos" in the film. Since we've seen letters indicating that "legos" are _not_ the correct term for "LEGO brand building bricks", obviously no one would think they _were_ "LEGO brand building bricks". -gyug In (...)   Re: 4556 Train Station - Something to buy?

(...) Looks like it's made out of bricks, not wall pieces. It does have a lot of large windows. I'd buy one for 30% off, just becuase I like my 4554 so much. Actually, if it came in yellow I'd buy it for retail price! BTW, the 4554 is one of the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

My 2-studs worth: I'm always looking for more 2x1 and 2x2 inverse sloped bricks. The $3.00 for 16 pieces is a bit steep - and only in red? I want blue, yellow, white, etc. I need 5,000 blue just for the inside of my ferry boat hull. 3x3 low sloped (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
