  Re: Rarest Regular Lego Part....

(...) I would say the Maersk Blue Construction Helmet is pretty rare, only one has sold on BL and that was for $100 - more than the white pigtail hair: (URL) would also think any Maersk Blue part that was not included in the container ship is pretty (...)   Re: Fake LEGO

(...) There are no known clones that mold the word Lego into their bricks. All clones use some other mark or no mark at all. There are some clones that make parts very similar to Lego parts, but those never have the Lego name. (...) The bricks you (...) (20 years ago, 12-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

My Experience Building Jin Sato's MIBO

I'm sure MIBO is old news to many folks since this amazing robot dog was introduced by Jin Sato at least 5 years ago, but I figured I'd share my experiences with building MIBO for those folks who aren't familiar with MIBO or are still interested.   Re: Aust event 2005 (back-up event name)

I suggest that Bricks Down Under 2005 (aka BDU2005) is a good name. (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Question on part naming

I noticed some inconsistancy in the naming of some of the wedge parts. Some are named with the smaller number first, and others are named with the numbers placed to match the numbers used on bricks based on the X and Z axes. For example, 41765 is (...)   Re: What Does Geobra Society have to do with Lavender Brick Society?

(...) I thought with all this recent talk about add'l ng's that Dave S would have piped up for a more bon-a-fide MegaBlok NG, instead of 'clone-brands'. But again the L in LUGNET doesn't stand for Lavender or cLone bricks, it stands for LEGO. I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Sep-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Can't argue with solid reasoning like that. Bricks?! Pah! Those old fashioned parts are just for those kooky castle and town builders, but I guess Slopes-Plates-and-Gr...-Bits-fest doesn't really roll off the tongue. Allister. (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

So I guess what I really mean is as long as the accessories don't look out of place in the hands of a Lego minifig (relatively speaking), I'd consider them a clone brand which I defined by companies that (...)   Rarest Regular Lego Part....

Brick sorting and 4L Ice cream pails

I was at Dave K's a couple of weekends ago and saw he sorts out his bricks (mainly) using 4L square ice cream pails (like Chapman's comes in).
