It was clearly possible for TLC to make old greys and old brown variety packs to help bridge the color change transition. I bought what I felt was more than my fair share of these packs but the supply didn't run out too quickly, so I don't feel (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Congratulations, Esben! Thats a fine looking train. I find the tilt mechanism very interesting! Only one other tilt train I know of is James Mathis' APT, which from what I know, uses a similar mechanism. It's a pity that this doesn't have interiors, (...) (...) Me too! Light grey is light grey. Occasionally a new color piece really stands out so I simply discard it back into the tub and grab for another. My collection is still mainly old, so that procedure works well. The only real problem is my (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)
