(...) Unfortuneatly the drips of solder would not stick to each other, so unless you put a few drops of glue in afterwards to hold it all togather, you'd loos you weights. But this isn't a bad solution. It would fill the brick near solid, and the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)

Down in my part of Wisconsin there are 4400 tubs a-plenty even now. Weird, huh? Hope this one is a neat surprise, the 4400 was rated 4+ too, though the abundant tiles and tiny slopes didn't match the rest of the range like Buildings and Animals. (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

how can I join 2 "stud receptacles" together? I saw this: (URL) the method for butting 2 old pnu cylinders together is cool, and WORKS. I tried it with the 90 degree 1/2 beam as well, and it ALSO works. there is a TINY bit of slop, and am looking (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Its one of the most trivial things, but its always bothered me. Why have that texture on the slope end? What purpose does it serve? From the small selection of un-textured slopes we have, one can only infer that these would be less trouble to (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

(...) Do you mean part 3939? [LDrawPart 3939:46] Going by the data collected on Peeron, this part first appeared in 1978. For the next ~13 years, the part only appeared in transparent colors. I also want to congratulate everyone involved in making this possible. It made my return to the Windy City the bestest ever!
