As a note: I told Felix from the start all I wanted to do was give advice when
asked, not have any actual deliverables during the organizing phase. Felix held
to that, which is awesomely amazing, given how hard everyone else worked... I
was able to basically coast!
SF cons are fun. They’re different, they’re rowdy, they’re indecorous, wild
stuff happens, the participants all make us look relatively normal, but they’re
a lot of fun. If you or your club have a chance to get involved, give it serious
thought, you won’t be sorry.
