MEK is about all that will work well. The parks use a combo of MEK and liquid ABS resin, but MEK will work well enough. I guess you guys discussed the T3 board while at Chibots. I agree, the extra 2 studs around the perimeter would be a good thing. I wondered if such a technique could be employed in a train an found that yes it could... but with limitations. My first (...) I've over done it once again. Overwhelmed with Lego, everything but the castle is going.
