Hello, Most of you haven't heard from me for a while..... I have been busting my butt trying to finish the Lego CD. I said a year ago I would be done soon... and here I am... still finishing it.   Re: Red lady mosaic

Okay, I just finished typing the tutorial. It's long. The first mosaics will be easy, but things will get comlicated in the end. If you have questions, I'm sure you'll know where to post them. These tutorials will be text-ONLY. It assumes you have (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Red lady mosaic

(2 URLs) Brickshelf link> I like mosaics. I like SNOT. The unholy combination of these two resulted in what I'll call mixed mosaics. (anyone willing to devise a witty acronym is free to do so.) Anyway. The most basic mosaics are made with the studs (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  LDraw definition of non-functional

(...) Thank you for supporting our efforts to minimise the parts library "bloat" by not asking for this duplication of basic parts. In this case there is nothing to prevent LDraw modellers from placing a plume where it could fit into the tiny hole (...) (18 years ago, 28-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

(...) What are you saying? There's more than one Tim??? No, I've already done one of those (URL) here>, and I'm sticking with that. Although I do prefer a simpler 6x8 and 2x8 combination for the roof now. I suppose I could update those instructions (...) (18 years ago, 28-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Newswatch: Fifth Legoland Park in Kansas City area in 2009

Exciting news for residents of the midwest United States! I read this in the 4/28/2006 Kansas City Star. "Joco" is the local shorthand for Johnson County KS: a very well-to-do, family oriented suburb on the western side of Kansas City,MO with (...)   Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

Very cool! I'm not that familiar with the source material (seen the show; don't remember the copter), but your helecopter looks awesome! The way the front of the chopper angles forward makes it appear quite aggressive. I love the duel rotors, and (...) (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Batman Mini-Movie - Trailer Available

(...) Neat, but ... am I the only one that much prefers a true stop-motion LEGO film than one that's entirely CGI? Part of the fun of watching a LEGO movie, for me, is thinking that with enough time, bricks, and patience, I could do that. (OK, (...) (18 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)
