Re: An Episode I Set Finally Revealed...

(...) After looking at this picture I believe that these may very well be purple bricks and here is why... If you look at the 2x3 slopes in front of the two rear cockpits it appears that it is really 2 1x3 slopes next to eact other instead of 1 2x3 (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

Thanks for the tips! I have it all figured out now. Something so simple as LEGO bricks can bring such complicated solutions. Well, it's simple really. Sometimes the simple things are the hardest to see. I suppose that is why we build! Build On! (and (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Christopher's LEGO parts auction V My last big auction was on eBay and while I made a better return, many of my regular customers didn't participate due to a beef with how eBay works. I do this primarily to justify buying sets and keeping the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: An Episode I Set Finally Revealed...

My thoughts on the Gungan Sub: I knew, sadly, that the bricks in question were blue. I was hoping they weren't but, well, there you are. It will be interesting to see how the actual sub compares to the Lego one. What is the "anchor" on the front? (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Dimensions of the parts

  Re: Macaroni bricks for trade

Maybe it's just me but I consider these trades a bit steep. I know Macaroni is rare and maybe grey is rarer than black but I know i have a LOT of black macaroni and if i were the kind of guy that could complete trades in a reasonable time, I'd (...)   Re: Macaroni bricks for trade

Well Larry, I may agree in some cases. I saw that the white Macs were going for about $2 in Auczilla, so I figured that the dark gray was worth about half that. It is rarer, but also not as desirable as white. If people find my offer steep, they are (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) I like the piece Selection, too! Did you notice at the front? It looks like it has two trans-orange 1x2 bricks!! And perhaps a Trans-orange Insectoids dome in the back!!   Re: Hose spreadsheet now available

Cell E-58 contains an estimate of the total length of the curve. It should be between about 120 and 150. When I make hoses, I keep a few bricks, plates, 1x1 brick w/ headlight, 1x1 plate with horizontal studs, etc and a hose so I have a good model (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: An Episode I Set Finally Revealed...

I quickly retract my opinion- now that I've opened the image in photoshop and tweaked the color balance to reduce the red saturation, the bricks do indeed look blue.
