| | Removing printing from slope bricks

| My current project involves lots of blue 33deg slope bricks (3x4 and 3x2). Unfortunately, a substantial proportion of my collection is the decorated variety (from the Timmy set 4225 mostly). Does Brasso take the printing off slopes, or does the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

| Does anybody know how to remove the printing from bricks with texture, like a standard slope? I've tried brass-o, but that removes the texture just as much as the paint, and leaves the brick with an odd look and feel. Any suggestions would be most (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

| (...) Is this a US only usage? In Australia AFAIK "Lego" is "Lego", a collective noun for the toy system, and the bricks are "Lego bricks".
