Re: Wipeout fans! I bring you the Fiesar anti-gravity racing craft!

Now this is interesting... Three days ago I built the Auricom craft from Wipeout 3 out of LEGO (in minifig scale), and I thought I was the first to do so. I built a rough model, entirely out of memory, so while it looks good, it's not an accurate (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-02, to lugnet.space)

Type 5 lines at the edge of primitives

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but I discovered a problem with the use of type 5 lines at the edge of primitives. The basic problem is that there is no way for the primitive to know which direction any attached polygons are going to (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Sorry, all, :] I forgot Steve Bliss already briefly mentioned redoing the hand, so ignore anything in my post that sounds like I'm the only one who ever thought of it. :) But since the arm has now gotten attention from Chris Dee (thanks, Chris!), I (...)   small MOC

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a small, simple MOC I have completed. This is a 'light tank.' Really light because I guess it would be smaller than minifig-scale (yes, I know it's not of a scale).   Re: duplicate primitives?

(...) I think we should move to using the 4-4ringX nomenclature. a) Copy RINGx.DAT (x=1,2,3,4,7) to 4-4RINGx and RING10.DAT to 4-4RIN10.DAT, replacing with ~moved-to files. b) Make the PT reject new submissions that use the old names? c) Automated (...)   Re: Bulk parts selection?

(...) I was there 10 days ago, and the selection is still quite limited. There are tan 2x2 bricks, orange 2x8 bricks, an "assorted" selection with odd town parts in it (garbage cans, minifig heads in a variety of colors and styles, tools, etc.), and (...)   Re: Proposal for a LUGNET Event at LEGOLAND Windsor

I think if we want the day to be a success, we should have two differents approach. On one hand, our own MOC, any size, any color, any subject on a back shelve that nobody (the public) can really access. Alternatively behind a window could also do (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Question about scale

I would have to agree there. My current project is a minifig-scale 688-class attack submarine. Life size is 360 feet in length, MOC is coming out to just under 10 feet long (and using an inordinate amount of gray slopes in the process...). Bill "Jon (...)
