  Re: MiniFig Ponderings?

(...) I had sort of come to the same conclusion. But then in lots of other cases we are forced to find work arounds because standard Lego joints aren't strong enough, (1) I seems strange that Lego "cheated" by creating a special piece to make it (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  Protecting Keychains - A Problem...

I just got a minifig keychain for Christmas, and after using it for this time, it has become relatively scratched. His torso has a few knicks in it, and I discovered today that the paint on his smile is chipped in the middle. Is there something that (...) (26 years ago, 30-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Nuts

(...) An SW minifig pack (or two) seems almost essential for SW-LEGO. Especially if they're willing to make mini-figs of all the important characters who might not make it into one of the vehicle/base/location models. Think about Leia Organa. What (...)   Paint (again)....

Someone asked 'why would you paint your minifigs?' because to them the idea seems dumb. Well, it isn't. I need a minifig with grey hair, so I'll make one. I need to paint one of their faces, so I'll do it. No problem there. (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
