  Re: "Golem" Droid Host Unit

(...) I feel a little sheepish about this reply, given that the Golem is the main focus of this MOC, but the building trick I'm taking away from your post is D'kareth's sidearm! I've always wondered what to do with that UFO part, and your solution (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

The original face geometry had the same number of segments around the Y axis, but only two segments in the Y axis, while the torus primitives have 4 segments in the Y axis. As far as I can (...)   Minifig heads with torus primitives

There's been some discussion in the past about updating the 3626 parts to use the torus primitives. Well, here they are (at least for some of the patterns), now these files just need reviews on the parts tracker. (2 URLs) I haven't uploaded all of (...)   Re: Rarest Regular Lego Part....

When talking about the rarest Lego pieces, it kind of reminds me of something I red about the cathedrals of Europe and North America, namely "the number of cathedrals claiming to be one of the 6 largest in the world numbers at least 20". :-) (...) (...) Cool. I referenced this previous discussion: (URL) 5183> and this one: (URL) 5187> The faces themselves are still on the faceted cylinder, and moving them over would be a LOT of work, I would imagine. But I guess my question is this: are the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Profanity again

(...) Hmm... I see you have a point there. So I guess what I really mean is as long as the accessories don't look out of place in the hands of a Lego minifig (relatively speaking), I'd consider them a clone brand which I defined by companies that (...)   Why so many scowling minifig faces in the new town sets?

I bought 7034 last week (great set!) but couldn't help but notice how so many policemen of these new town sets have angry faces. What's wrong with smiley faces? Did one of Lego's "focus group" determined that children didn't like happy faces? Or an (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-04, to lugnet.town)
