|
| (...) Thanks for the compliments, Bill. Very kind considering you're a former model builder! We went for "Miniland detail in minifig scale", I think it worked out well. The Doby torsos were the only modified pieces on the model, I used some (...) (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

| (...) A smack-free post. I'm honoured ;) "those legs... stand out" hur hur. Very punny. The legs you see weren't the original final design. I built one I though I was happy with and ordered 56 1x2 ladder brackets to make the rest of them. I only (...) (20 years ago, 1-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| (...) I just picked up 3 tubs at a Sacramento (Northern California) TRU and they all had the more boring extra parts (URL) seen here> No nice minifig heads, no baseplates. | Brayton, my man, I can't believe nobody has responded to this....what a kick-a@# mecha! That main-gun with all the hoses and action rocks...actually the whole thing rocks. | (...) Yea, I'm afriad I went a little overboard on the minifig tools as greeblies on this one. I'd have prefered they look more mechanical and fit in better.
