Re: Build the trust, what are YOU building??

(...) My source material finally showed up, so I will hopefully be building something very not-house looking. I will complete the microfig version of said object, but the minifig scale version is less likely. Two weeks is an awfully short time frame (...)   LEGO Errors

I was looking at a few old Lego catalogs, and I came across some errors that were made 25-30 years ago. Here's 2 examples.... Error #1) the 1977 German catalog.... (URL) is a nice 16 page catalog... but there is something missing.... 19 sets that (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Build the Trust

(...) I am building a minifig-scale model/interpretation of the Farnsworth House in Plano, IL. It will end up slightly off scale due to choice of pieces, but I think it's looking good so far. -nk (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Corgo loading crane, and cargo ship

The SCLTC has been showing a layout at the Orange County Fair in Southern California, and just posted some images. And I wanted to point out a couple of my MOCs. The first is a cargo loading crane.   Build the trust, what are YOU building??

So far, only 4-5 people have posted what they are building. Can I assume all other do not want to tell? Come on.... As posted before, it would be pretty weird to have 8 copies of, for instance, the Robie house, and not a single one of something (...) Dear all, I finally finished a project I've been working on and off for quite a while now. In my home city of Brisbane we have quite a large and windy river. I have been lurking, and occasionally commenting for some time on mecha, without posting any mecha of my own (more stuff usually on lugnet.robotics). Here is something I built this afternoon while my little man was sick, as I couldn't go to work, or go out, or make much noise in general (other then the sweet rattle of brick on brick which is like the sound of leaves rustling in the cool spring (...) Could someone make a list (and post it somewhere...) of all tyhe different walking (or other) animation options available? I can think a few more examples: * MLCad has some support for creating minifig walking animations. * LD4DModeler can model (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)

(...) 'minifig stiffs'? That seems so derogatory. can't you use 'old-style minifigs', or anything else? I also note that you use 'big-head people' instead of 'maxi-fig' again this seems derogatory, but I am just ranting. dave (19 years ago, 15-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

I might wimp out and build a different, generally historic, small home at minifig scale. -Suz (19 years ago, 23-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)
