| Since I didn't even have a mock-up for the new hinges, I just used a 1X2 brick and a 1X2 plate with hinges on top of each other to represent them. | I quickly retract my opinion- now that I've opened the image in photoshop and tweaked the color balance to reduce the red saturation, the bricks do indeed look blue.
