 | | BR 9F steam engine
|
| Thought I'd post this up as dont see many U.K steamers on here. It was originally built for a forthcoming show, and was intended to be the "Evening Star", but lack of availability for many of the parts in dark green has led to it being built in (...) | | LEGO RCX (Line & Light Follower) & NXT (Fighter)
|
| Hi all, I just upload two articles of three LEGO robots I've made, 2 RCX able to follow a light and a line, and one NXT to fight sumo. Right now I've just "clean" the code of the line follower, as soon as I'll make the other code available I'll post (...) (17 years ago, 3-Oct-08, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | LUGNET 10th Anniversary
|
| Hi all, I had been notified about this earlier but unfortunately missed the date as well: Widely unnoticed, LUGNET had it's 10th anniversary (if counted from the 1st news post logged in the system) on September 28th, 2008. I would like to take this (...) (17 years ago, 30-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce) !!

| (...) You're welcome! I really can't emphasize how much I love this MOC. It inspires me to build steam but at the same time I am discouraged because you've set the bar so high. And shortly after making my post I realized that it is indeed 7 wide, (...) (17 years ago, 30-Sep-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, FTX)

 | | need to make a 15 degree angle
|
| anyone know of a part or combination of parts that would make a 15 degree angle, similar to the way 30365 and 30364 (locking hinge bricks) work. I would use those but they only stop at every 22.5 degrees. It wouldn't have to be a compact part(s) (...) (17 years ago, 30-Sep-08, to lugnet.parts)

| (...) Why does the follow-up go to the Robotics group? This is a CAD / LDraw issue, so it should be lugnet.cad.dat.parts. (My mistake in the first place to post it to lugnet.cad ;-) (17 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

| A late congrats post. This is some excellent work JoJo. Brilliantly lavish landscaping, a nice integrated dwelling, well furnished, some nice construction details, and an all round well scaled MOC. Very good work! God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 18-Sep-08, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

 | | Re: SSPP: To keep or not?

| Tobbe, I think the SSPP contest is great, but perhaps not attractive to some people. It's a great challenge to make anything capable of pulling weight, but it is very limiting. I think it's more attractive to have a contest that would result in a (...) (24 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)
