Well cats out of the bag, better show what I’m also working on now so we do not
have more over lap.
I’m working on GOOGLEGO.info website. Basically anything LEGO related, show,
events, clubs, challenges, media, leagues, and more would be listed and placed
on a Google map with custom icons.
The end result would have anyone with something LEGO to add to send an email to
my websites server. The server would then take this formatted form based email
and dynamically create web entries of this info. From then it would use an API
to update Google. The only real work would be reformatting any artwork or logos
to fit layouts.
In the end once it is all set up it would be available to anyone to access and
make updates and changes with a login.
GOOGLEGO.info would be searchable, and organized by the categories.
Any new info would be at top of blog.
Was going to use Googles calendar also..
Slideshows and more, check out site and see, still in beta, adding stuff daily,
Menu is not yet hooked up with blog yet so it is just there for looks now. But
it gives you the idea of the plan of the site. Was not going to post until fully
functional but here it is in beta1.
Right now it’s just a few of us that are working on it, but anyone that wants to

But depending on whether you pronounce it "GoogleGo" or "GoogLEGO", you might end up hearing something from LEGO at some point asking that you not use the LEGO brand name in your domain. (...)
