| Make sure that your modulating the transmision part with the correct frequency! When I built my handy board I tested the IR TX circuit and it gave me 57kHz instead of 40 kHz and I did use all the correct resistor capacitor values. I suggest that you (...) | IrDA turns 'on' the IR for every 0 bit and holds it upfor ~ 1/2 of the period of the transmission frequency.(more on (URL) For these reasons its better to set the IrDA transmission frequency to 2x38kHz=76kHz and send 0x55 or other similar (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

IR is in reality a frequency defined from A to B. any messages sent within this spectre is said to be IR messages. so in theory sending an IR message closer to A than B from one RCX. and at the same time sending (...) | IR transmission was pretty tough to get at. Carrier frequency was the final key - there are no crystals to create the IR carrier, so the processor has to provide it. | Mike, I've done quite a bit of investigating and I can't find a way to change the Palm IR transmission frequency. The IR library is supposed to allow low level configuration of the IR port but I don't see any way to set the frequency. This seems (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.palm)
