| | Taking LUGNET to the next level
| Chats with people at BrickFest PDX last weekend got me thinking a lot more about LUGNET and its role in the community. I've bounced some of my thoughts off of various people (including three people from LEGO) and responses varied from positive to (...) | | Q&A session chat?
| Hello BrickFest PDX 2004 participants, Early February Larry Pieniazek proposed to have a possible chat during the Q&A session at BrickFest PDX. His posting: (URL) anyone know if this is going on? If yes, at what time should we report in? With (...) (21 years ago, 15-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

| | Re: Stability of cars/rails?
| (...) I think I'd use a bigger interior wheel, technic beams for the outrigger and put the weights (the big red things) midway between the wheel and the train car, but ya, that looks like it ought to be pretty steady, you've changed a two point (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: Are you going to try out?
| (...) All very nifty, but... I hope that LEGO turns the LEGOMasterBuilder.com site on soon. It still says "LEGOMasterBuilder.com will launch on October 13, 2003" but today's the 14th. Given all the hype from the likes of Wired, expect some outraged (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

| | Re: Imperiled!
| (...) Sometimes the sarcastic remark, intended to mock when uttered by the speaker, actually contains the germ of the truth. If the legitimacy of our election process is imperiled as greviously as these articles allege (and it's pretty scary stuff, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

| | Re: Curator change requests
| (...) Actually, no, at least not as I understand it. The addition of a subgroup curator does not suppress the person who curates the supergroup. Multiple people can be curator over the same group, and the curator of loc (Joshua Delahunty, to be (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.admin.curators)

| | Re: Curator change requests

| (...) This is updated automatically, if I understand it correctly, not by hand. (...) You won't find mention of subgroups (being curator of .org, for example, means that you're also curator of everything under .org), nor will you find mention of (...)
