  Re: Lobsters and Frogs debate...

Gentlemen, I've been watching this debate develop for a while... forgive my lengthy and belated commentary. (...) Ahh, dangerous words, those: "perfect plan"... a change in wind or bad luck on a reef and its bad business for the British. Though if (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

This tram model caught my attention. Uses a new windscreen element to achieve the perfect look for this imitation of the real thing. (URL) model Marc! later, James Mathis (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) No doubt about that!... Comparing to your own design (one of my favourites BTW), it becomes obvious that 6 wide is better for scale but 8 wide takes the prize for detail... :-) The 7 segments retain fairly accurate proportions, at least on a (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: my British squadron

(...) If it's a British squadron, you needn't worry -- I always blame my shortage of manpower on the fact that the small population of Britain is crewing the LARGEST and MOST SUCCESSFUL fleet of the period, and arguably the most successful relative (...)   Re: RCX remote and Spybotics

I have noticed that they do interfer - mostly just 'blocking' signals from one or another. I haven't done any experimenting with changing frequencies on the spybots or tried to work around tis problem. I would still get a remote for the RCX - it (...) Hello Adrick, Although I don't have set 8538 I do have some general advice based on my own experience putting together complicated technic sets. The first thing I would do is go back through the instructions to see if you have assembled it properly. (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic)
