From what I have hear Lego should be moving in a new direction soon. They have a new individual heading up their web division (not responsible for the recent alterations of lego.com) and I think the marketing folks in general are paying a lot more (...) LEGO programming will be returning to the 2005 (URL) Philcon> SF convention! This will be the second year with an official exhibit and events. (...) I love sets from this era -- pre-minifig, lots of pieces and/or functions in every set. Usually these go for less on eBay than minifig sets. I just picked up the Lego "Railway Express" set (#4561) last night. It comes with a "Toy Transformer" electrical plug (adaptor). The label on the plug says (North American version): Input: 120 VAC 60 Hz 0.12 A Output: 12 VAC 7 VA Would this work as (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

One of my favorite LEGO sets of all time was the 1956-65 Esso Service Station. This set was produced in Denmark, Norway and Sweden from 1956-58 using the 1310 set number, before switching to the 310 set number in 1958. It started production in other (...)
