  Re: Chessie Caboose

I've done some experimenting with model train decals. You can buy dry decals and they apply quite easily and nicely onto LEGO bricks. O-scale prints match the LEGO train scale altough they might be a bit too big depending on your preference. As for (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

Using Lego IR outside of Lego

I have the Lego IR hardware on my desktop computer and now have a laptop with built-in IR. Is there any way to use the Lego IR as a "regular" IR transmitter, ie to send files to the laptop? In looking over the message history on here, it looks like (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego Bookmarks

(...) Yes, please send me links, and if you find a broken one, please let me know. I try to clear out old links every now and then, but with the list so large, it is easy to miss some. The last check I did (with Dr. HTML) was during the summer. And (...) (26 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  My new lego web pages

Hey RTL, I have a new lego web page featuring my creations. Currently I have two categories of images, Ninja Themed images and a theme I call Military. Please feel free to browse around. I'm not finished with the site, but there are quite a few (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  RE: LEGO releases developer kit

Hey, how's your ping pong ball shooter working? I've spent so much time monkeying with the firmware I haven't actually built many robots. I did stop by the local toy store and pick up a few extra sets for spare parts though. They were having a 20% (...) (26 years ago, 20-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I just found the "Newhoo..." site today. Nice set of links. But more to the subject, I just finished 2 weeks worth of work on a page of boxing links. I started out with over 200 links, and after getting rid of the dead ones, reduced it 120. (...) (26 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

I see this as another addition to Lugnet - expanding the links currently there, adding them in a searchable database, and then having the server automatically check for dead links every day and remove ones that are dead for more than a few days in a (...) (...) That's the only reason I want it... The newsfeed I have at work is read-only. I wouldn't mind at all giving up my newsfeed in exchange for lugnet; the only newsgroup I read regularly is rtl. Cheers, - Sproat (26 years ago, 13-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)
