| (...) I agree, this is an excellent suggestion, and in fact it is a mystery to me that they are not doing it already. A few carefully designed specialised parts would almost certainly increase the mass appeal of such sets. While making tracks with (...) | | Re: LEGO® Launches Battle Over Trademark
| (...) Lego did not license the Kiddicraft design. They took it and *slightly* modified it. The Kiddicraft design, although patented in the UK, was not protected in Denmark. They bought all of the residual rights to the brick (in the early 1980s) (...) (15 years ago, 18-Nov-09, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

| | FS: 8294 Technic Excavator, Factory Sealed
| Howdy- I received 8294 Technic Excavator for X-Mas 2008 but never opened it. It's remained sealed, on a shelf, in a smoke-free, pet-free, adult household in California, USA. | (...) Not a valid analogy I believe. LEGO didn't clone Kiddiecraft; it took the idea and ran with it. Since their improvements were superior to the original, the original died off. Clones today exist because of their compatibility with LEGO, not (...) (15 years ago, 17-Nov-09, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

| | Yellow or Flesh?
| I don't get this whole flesh minifig licensing crap. But regardless, I am even more confused by what sets have what color minifigs. A number of Star Wars sets, both in pictures on the Lego site now, and in Brickshelf, Peeron, etc pictures seem to (...) (15 years ago, 20-Jan-10, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Re: Yellow or Flesh?
| (...) The color changes all started in 2004. Greys became bleys, brown became reddish-brown, and yellow licensed minifigs became fleshies. There is no "which sets" anymore. If it's Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or any other licensed property, it should (...) (15 years ago, 20-Jan-10, to lugnet.starwars)
