| | Re: 10152 Maersk promo ship comes back as 10155
|
| (...) As I recall, Jake McKee implied that Maersk Blue wouldn't be available again-- the company as a whole didn't really say anything at all. Then the AFOL community ran with it and made a huge deal over what Jake said. At the time, LEGO decided to (...) (14 years ago, 3-Jan-11, to lugnet.promo, FTX)

Didnt we hear similiar noise earlier about a wide parts pallette (for Lego Brand Retail) and trying not to use lots of SKU's that it would be too costly.... we are seeing TLC making unusual parts and seeing the new catalogue with the 3 whole (...) | (...) Impressive list there. (...) To me atleast MLCad's way of placing parts is the most common and natural way of placing parts in a 3D. Click a part in the virual bucket of LEGO and drag to the enviroment. Integrate snapping, alingning, auto (...) (14 years ago, 1-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

| | Re: Kiddicraft and Lego

| Amazing story and details! I knew little about this. Know I understand why was never able to get proper answers from LEGO, about origin of the brick dimensions and where there were mathematical studies in the origin of the 5:5:6 brick proportions, (...) | | 10152 Maersk promo ship comes back as 10155
|
| [LEGOSet 10152] The 10152 Maersk Sealand promo from 2004 (MSRP 75 USD in the US, see above) seems to have come back as 10155... however TLG raised the MSRP to 120 USD. From the pics given on shop.lego.com I don't see any difference in the sets but I (...) (14 years ago, 1-Jan-11, to lugnet.promo, FTX)

| (...) Good to hear that a Lego store is finally gonna be somewhat local (At least within driving distance). Too bad it's located in Toronto though. I'm not a big fan of T.O. and try to avoid going there if I can help it. I'm surprised they wouldn't (...) (14 years ago, 25-Nov-10, to lugnet.org.ca.obb, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

| | Re: minifig series 3 goes up from $1.99 to $2.99
|
| (...) True the $1.99 was a much better rate for the US. I realize Lego is a corporate and naturally they need to make a profit -- and more importantly maximize it. But in the 21st century, they may need to factor in ubiquity of information and how (...) (14 years ago, 29-Dec-10, to lugnet.general)

| (...) About a year ago, I was requested to design an American-style pick-up truck, and this was the result. I designed the original in LDD, and it has since been realized in brick as well. To me, the truck looks like a Dodge Ram. (URL) While I'm at (...) (14 years ago, 29-Dec-10, to lugnet.town, FTX)
