  Re: Who's here?

(...) The TRU sounds good. We have a couple of family members that the wife was wanting to spend time with in Elkhart. Two birds with one stone? Do you have a specific time this afternoon/evening? Is 7:00 PM too late? (...) Sounds good. -Duane (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.in.sbd)

  Re: BrickFest 2002 Castle Room

(...) Hi, I won a large lot of 2x2 round gray plates on e-bay the other day and it made a good cobble-stone road to use a bunch of these interspersed with gray, dark gray, and black 1x1 plates and round plates. I've got a picture of a 5-wide path (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

From my standpoint as a castle-head, color variations is not a horrible thing per se--real stone walls aren't all one shade, so mixing shade differences is fine. However, the new dark gray looks too blue to me and is therefore not very useful. I (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Hey Tamy, great stuff! Both are very solid, "villagy-looking" buildings. I really like the wall pattern on the Greylen Quarters, you've pulled off the stone effect very well.
