Re: Shop at Home up and running?

S@H seems amazingly slow in between pages... and I'm on a T1 Why does it need to reload the applet and all the menus every time I click a new page? Anyway, I got me two o' them Jack o' Lanterns. Woo! ~Mark (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Also, the Kmart on Hwy 6 N. is closing and everything is 50% off. James and I hit it two weekends ago and didn't find much. They had mostly Jack Stoner and soccer sets. No Star Wars (except for a few pit droids) and no new 2002 stuff. So this (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.hou)

I went to the Zany Brainy at the Arboretum today and...guess what! They have an all-new Adventurers set, Spider's Secret!   Re: Question about RIS version differences

There are four aspects to the RIS kit and the RCX brick: 1. Hardware. This is primarily the RCX brick itself. As other posts have pointed out the main difference is that the original RCX 1.0 brick has a power adapter jack, while later versions (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) WRONG!!! you can still buy one at spectrum. sure it cost $190 (ish) but they can still be bought so that's a lame excuse. I have 4. I flat out refuse to buy an RCX if it does not have an AC jack. Chris no potty joke. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I and some other eBayer informed the buyer of the situation, and I assume he will report the deal to eBay as a kind of fraud. I don't mind someone selling 10000 as such, my problem is calling it 6067 in order to try to jack the price on the unwary. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

There have been three different box labellings: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0. However, the RCXs in boxes labelled 1.5 still said 1.0 on the side. RCXs from RIS 1.5 and 2.0 have no adapter jack.
