Re: What AC adapter to use for RIS 1.0?

Hello everyone, I've just signed up to this mailing list and it looks like there's a lot of cool information being passed around here. Anyway, I have an RCX 1.0 with the power jack. Some time ago, I noticed the markings in the plastic above the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: What is a "review"?

(...) Allan's familiartity with other lego sets and elements is absolutely relevant, how could it be otherwise? That fact is practically the soul of his reviews. (...) Actually, I don't think I've read any Jack Whyte, I must have either read of meteorites being called skystone in some other story, or made it up. I should out my Silmarillion and see what Tolkien called them. Thanks, George (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A/C Adapter for RCX 1.0

The 1.0 RCX with AC adaptor jack takes 9-12 volts. I have been running one on a 12 volt adaptor for ages, and no damage. I think the RCX also includes some protective circuitry, so you shouldn't have any trouble, especially with an adaptor LEGO sent (...) (20 years ago, 22-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Thanks! I wish I could take credit for the Jack minifig, but I can't. It is a custom minifig I bought on eBay a few years ago. Zero's design is mine, though. Russell (20 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.org.us.baylug, FTX)

  Orange hands

I was wondering if orange minifig hands exist. I just got a jack-o-lantern head, and I'd like to make an entire pumpkin man, but I don't think it would look as sweet with yellow hands. Or red hands.
