Hi all, I actually put this up this past weekend but figured I'd wait a bit for Brickfest buzz to die down before announcing. Anyway . . . BTW, it's those lovely US-deep-discount sales that make buying them possible. What you see is HALF of the 5571s I had - I traded some away, gave one as a Xmas gift, built a few, split 5 for parts....and sold some others on Ebay to pay off the entire (...) G'day all... A while back, while I was building my little sloop 'Flame', I found myself lacking in guns. With only 12 cannon in my arsenal, I set about designing my own. The 9-pounders of old, (URL) fairly successful, so even after 'Flame' had a bad (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)

There's a calculator for these things? Oh my, I've been working under the 1 stud = 1 foot system (based on the principle that each fig foot is one stud, and so one 'imperial' foot). I'm working from 'The Line Of Battle' (Conway's History of the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)
