BTW, it's those lovely US-deep-discount sales that make buying them possible.
What you see is HALF of the 5571s I had - I traded some away, gave one as a Xmas
gift, built a few, split 5 for parts....and sold some others on Ebay to pay off
the entire lot of 42 of them. The 2 that are boxed up on top of the stack are
the last ones to go on Ebay for a long, long time. I want to try to keep all
the rest of them.
I bought 1 of the 8480s at $75, the rest were $60 or less on clearance, and I
have 10 of them on Ebay to pay off most of the stack.
I bought 4 4561s on clearance at $78, 11 at $32, and traded some other sets for
6 more. I parted out 8 on Ebay to pay off the first 15 of them. The 6 I
picked up this weekend were basically paid for already, as the sets I had have
been mostly paid off on Ebay.
I hate Ebay when buying, but I sure like it when selling, it lets me keep more
Lego!
