Re: ToysRus is taking your vote for your best toy award

(...) Sadly, although I'll vote for Lego, I think of the 4 options, the Nano collection or the K'Nex are far and away the better building toys. The MB Dragons line is simply a travesty, and they picked a horrible small set for Lego. Maybe if they (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

I'm actually not really sure where this would go, so I took my best guess. At the LEGO Roadshow in Dallas (and most likely at all the other Roadshow locations), there were displays of creations by LEGO employees. In particular, there was this one (...)   Re: Electrical pick-up for 9v track

This looks a great idea and much simpler than making new metal flanges (as in the 9v motor) I don't actually run my stuff very much/far to I think it would be hardwearing enough for my purposes although I would imagine the 'round the flange' (...)   Birch reworked

Hello! While I was dedusting some old MOC (Boy, was that necessary!) the birch collapsed. It's a somewhat gracile structure. I'm following Matthias Erhmann's excellent BrickOS Linux Installation HOWTO, and I've hit a snag. When executing the "make" command in step 2.2 to make the gcc cross-compiler, I got the error below.   Imperial Shuttle with 6 wide landing ramp

I loved LEGO's original deisgn of the set #7166 Imperial Shuttle due to it's size. It was just big enough to fit in one hand and fly aorund.
