  Re: O'Reilly book news

In lugnet.robotics, David Schilling writes: [...] (...) From what I understand, Amazon makes no profit when a book is 30% off list and then grants a 15% referral fee.[1] The 15% is a maximum. A visitor to their site would need to buy directly (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Ninja stuff

(...) I consider the Ninja sets to be part of the Castle line. Not only are the sets GREAT for parts (LOVE the stone facade) and minifigs, but they give a whole new idea to ornamentation, realized in Lego. I also like the way they are put together. (...)   Re: Castle accessories arrived

(...) I think the total number available was around 50 for all of Europe. I now have only a couple--but in retrospect I'm shocked that I got any. But that's what happens when one has little else to do for a week, and happens to land on a lucky week. (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Spanning large areas

Most stock LEGO sets use large, thin plates to create roofs and second-story floors. In some cases (like Fort Legorado, 6769), they have created super-large plates (black in this case) to do the job. What happens when you need to span a LARGER area (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: GATS church update

(...) How many table widths deep are we in this area? As long time readers of this group know I am rather against three deep. Thought we were only 2 deep across the board in which case we "ought" to be ok? Still I think a general rule of "do the (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
