  Re: Help with waist design

(...) I have had good luck with a very 'low tech' solution to the 4x4 turntable: I just looped a rubber band (from an old Technic set!) around the 'base' piece, so that the 'top' piece sat over it in two spots. The rubber gave some friction between (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: technic box #2

You create it, you set the rules. You also take the risk of never seeing it again, as we have found out :-/ Box size - irrelevant if it stays in the US. Try visiting (URL) and seeing if Lego will send you one. If you explain that you bought the set and that it was missing the piece when you bought it, they would probably even send it to you for free. (17 years ago, 1-Mar-08, to lugnet.loc.au)
