Well finally!  We have built enough sets to start the
TECHNIC Auction.  Following is a partial list of TECHNIC/
Expert Builder sets that will be in this auction.  I'm
going to start the auction in the next day or so and will
be adding new sets as I build them.  If there are any Tech
sets you are particularily looking for you might drop me
an email and if I have them I might be able to build them
and put them in this auction.  Also,  I have included a copy
of the rules at the bottom of this announcment.

All the sets in this auction are complete and in excellent
used condition.  All the sets have the original instructions
which are also in excellent used shape (some are folded). There
are no boxes.

All of the alternates have been built to confirm a complete
piece collection.

If you have any questions, please ask:  mailto:tinney@portal.ca

Thanks, Pat.

P.S. I'm providing some annotations to help out a bit.  I've
referred to the small working electric motors as motors and
Lego's impression of internal combustion engines as engines.

1)  This is an Open, Once, Twice, Sold auction.  There will be an
open bidding period at the start of the auction. After that
approximately two weekdays of inactivity on a lot will advance
it from one stage to the next.  Please note that the status
markers will be as follows: open, once(day1), once(day2),
    twice(day1), twice(day2) and SOLD.

2)  All bids, payments, dollar values are in US dollars.  Minimum
    bid increments are as follows:
$1 for items/bids up to and including $50
                  $2 for items/bids over $50

Withdrawal of bids is strongly discouraged, but will be dealt
with on a case by case basis.

3)  Participants will receive daily updates at the least.  An update
will also be posted to rec.toys.lego every Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday. All bidders will automatically be included in the
participant list.  All others can be added to the list by
    emailing Pat Tinney:  tinney@portal.ca

4)  We are entertaining no trade offers at this time.

5)  As lots become sold, we will email the winner with total

received, and is waiting for clearance.  Finally, we will
email when the package has been shipped.

6)  Payment can be made in the form of US or International money
order, bank draft, cashier's cheque, wire transfer, or personal

It can take up to 30 days for US dollar personal cheques drawn
on US banks to clear, so we will need to wait this long after
receipt of a personal cheque before shipping.

A money order, bank draft, or other 'cash'-like payment requires
little or no clearing, and will ensure that your shipment is
    sent to you sooner.

An even quicker method would be a wire transfer from your bank.
As with a money order, there may be a small charge to you to
do this, but the money is transferred securely very quickly.
Contact us for more details about this payment method.
