22/7 & infinities (was: Re: The nature of the JC god, good or evil?)

Plowing though .debate and a couple numbers caught my eye! (below) (...) Larry, IMBW, but I think John might've meant "pi" when he said "22/7" -- at least, I know I've heard people accidentally refer to pi in that manner before. John, pi = (...)   To Do Lists for everyone

I thought last night's meeting went very well! I've put together a long "To Do" list, sorted by individual, detailing everything (and a little more) that was discussed. Note that there a few unassigned items. Who wants them? I have not talked to (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Announcing Classic-Space Forums

(...) There was really nothing to refute. I was merely expressing my OPINIONS about your guidelines. I was asking an honest question about rule #5 though. What does it mean and was it meant to be sarcastic. I have no problem following a set of rules (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

Hi friends, this really has been a most interesting thread about a theme that periodically reappears. I think there are a few things to underline. First of all, there is the idea of a contest that only makes sense, if restricting rules are set up to (...) (20 years ago, 12-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Positioning

Well, I can tell the robot to turn 45 degrees using timing but it's not precise enough. It would be something about 43-47 degrees. I could use a rotation sensor (but I don't have one) to increase accuracy but there will always be a smal error. After (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Lots of 50% off stuff at Target

The other night I visited the Target near Tinseltown here in the Springs and was pleased to find a LOT of LEGO at 50% off. It is scattered among the clearance aisles, with some of it on the ends of aisles. There were a lot of the value packs (Mars (...) TRIM DOWN THE NEWSGROUPS IN THIS THREAD! There. I did it. I screamed. After reading all posted so far, there are things that exicte me and there are things that turn me off. The idea to be able to set up a Swedish (or other) club page that draws (...) (21 years ago, 12-Feb-04, to lugnet.org)

Re: First True Harry Potter Pics!

(...) It looks something like one, possibly.. it's too small to tell.. but oooo... look just above and to the left of the tall guy (1) -- those look like two 'brass' keys on the 1x2's with pegs. mmmm..keys..!   Re: Pink Rooofs and DUPLO 2794 playhouse

(...) I had another look at it today in the store. I don't see any microwave. It's like an inkblot that no longer shows me what I expect to see. However, the oven is pretty neat. How come the milk and meat is stacked up on the shelf though? Is that (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.duplo)
