Re: How does one become a "Guild of Bricksmiths(tm)" member?

(...) For the record, I see no difference between the New Guild and WAMALUG, GMLTC, Dixielug, NELUG, etc. (essentially like mided individuals sharing the same geography, enterprise, etc.) By extension Lugnet is a faction w/in a large group of (...)   Re: GMLUG Users

Hi! Can't say that I've ever been to a GMLUG meeting, but the GMLTC is located primarily out of Minneapolis. We may not be the best way to get started into LEGO trains since our layout style requires an unrealistic amount of bricks to incorporate. (...)   Starhawk Space Racer

Greetings! I had posted a teaser of this model several weeks ago. I enjoyed whooshing it around the apartment while I waited on some plain white 3 x 12 slopes from Bricklink to complete it (I didn't want to Brasso my only pair of JSF slopes). (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space) !

Re: 8 Wide Dual Engine Shed

He is referring to set #3225, which is ironic, as it first appeared in Germany, IIRC. Of course, John bought 46 copies, which is excessive, even for set hogs like the GMLTC. ;-) Mike Poindexter (...) bricks (...) in (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  My First Custom Decals

Here are some pics of my first custom decals on my 14 wide Soo caboose using clear decal sheets from Microscale®. (URL) used my BW laser printer and the results were less than optimal.   Re: Rough Draft: Hiawatha Engine

Hey Mike-- Nice start and a fine choice to model! We at the GMLTC plan to have the Hiawatha as our signature passenger train. (...) Right. If it is wrong, I'm wrong too, as I have a much lower shed like appurtenance on the side of the car shop I did in blue/grey on the GMLTC yard module.
