  Legoland Train Model Nitpicking, vehicles I recognised, misc rantings.
 
Well, I spent a lot of time examining the trains at LegoLand MiniLand Some nits.... which should be taken as constructive criticism because in general I LOVED it. - The nonworking switches are very obviously non working. You just stepped on it. According to a post that I can't remember from who (knows something about Enfield) it used by the machinery to distinguish back and front sides of the minifig torsos. He also stated that this required for screen printing the (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I got 6390 Main Street not too long ago, and guess what? The torsos had nothing inside! They're very loose! I noticed the new X-torsos seem to bond more tightly than the ones from a couple years ago. It seems to me they're just making them (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-99, to lugnet.general)

Now, other than old Castle queen minifigs with 2x2x2 sloped dresses and galleons figures on the front of pirateships (both of which haven't been in production for eons) what sorts of (...)   The Black Tyco Castle
 
Well, I built the castle to make sure it had all the 494 pieces and it is missing a few things: The radar dish type piece which connects to the underside of a round tower. A minigfig.   Flawed piece in Y-Wing
 
The 'postbox' cover in my 7150 is flawed and will not fit on the 'postbox' :-( I'll have to send it back. Perhaps they'll send me a Darth Vader minifig as compensation :-) Huw (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Am I the only one who thinks that Darth Maul looks kinda stupid and ridiculous on this speeder or whatever this meant to be? Escaped from a cheap Marvel comic series, huh? i have done several minifig scale cars including: ferrari, lamborghini, mercedes roadster, cadilac, cevy suburban, mazda miata, and a few others...nothing as big as 1/24th though! (...) (25 years ago, 13-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)
