Re: Parts Tracker part Discussion: x523, Minifig Visor with Feather

Hi Paul, Seems you have to face difficult or even impossible requirements. But often what seems requirements is only remarks. For me, the part is good enough, and you have done your best, that is sufficient. The least I can do is to review, and I (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I just thought that this part (or others) might need some discussion, and The parts tracker is not really for that. I completely expected hold votes, mainly (...)   Emplacing a gem onto a minifig torso

I am wonder if anyone has attempted to place any type of gem onto a torso of a minfig? I would image that you would need to fill the torso with something so that when you place the gem on the torso it won't fall off. =) Is anyone here capable of (...) Ahui, I would tend to say that any jeweler should be able to handle it. Basically, you want to bore a hole in the torso, push an earring into it, bend the pin of the earring over to lock it in, and probably also epoxy it in place. The skill will (...) (21 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

Wow, this is spectacular. All of the details from the wings to the engines are great. I like the picture that copies the famous picture with the launch rail. I also appreciate the good instructions for this moc. Ben (21 years ago, 19-Dec-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)
