Very nice! I am getting back into military style MOCs myself and would love to build a minifig scale motorized tank, but I know virtually nothing about technic. Interesting calculations. I have come across similar in the model railway world. The question is, do you scale down time as well? Is a minifig second 1/45 of a full size second? (...) I don't WANT new parts. I'd like existing parts in more colors and larger quantities. A Jack Stone-scale SpongeBob figure doesn't open up a lot of building possibilities for me.   Technique for creating minifig heads
 
I just discovered that a minifig head is drawn by defining every feature on the face as an Ldraw type. So what's a good way to measure the points? Does one draw the facial features on graphing paper wrapped around a cylinder to scale? (19 years ago, 30-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad)
