If by cool you mean dirty-looking, not useful for building, and generally

mean you can build anything diferent or original with so many MB BURPs.

Not useful for building? Well, the hulls arent appreciably less adaptable than
LEGO ship hulls, so YMMV
Dirty looking? Heck yes!
Generally ugly? No way, IMO

The best thing about the MB Pyrates is the packaging: leather pouches,
shulls and recently a treasure chest.

The packaging is indeed cool, but the Pyrates minifig-scale accessories are
great, too. Weapons, lanterns, shovels, gems, treasure chests, maps. All very
cool. Even the non-Pyrate accessories can be useful for enhancing your LEGO
minifig arsenal.
