I had a minifig vacuum metalized over a year ago. Unfortunately, I forgot to send a helmet and visor :( The person who did it said they wouldn't do another, too much work. Weighed my Millennium Falcon last night and It's up to 15 pounds. Refining the lower surface demanded plenty of plates so the wieght creeped up a little bit.
