  Re: LEGO trains are great!

(...) Hello - At least Lugnet Train newsgroup has not been killed! I have to agree, that 9V is preferable for Club layouts, since battery power is not easy to be supplied for daylong operation. The rechargebale box loads extremely quick, however the (...) (13 years ago, 19-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

Hi Matt, welcome (back) in the zombie group.... :-) I have just tested a couple of waggons (10 new + 5 old to be exactely) for magnet power: when pulling apart a train of waggons equipped with different magnet systems I find no clear answer: (...)   Rendering with Motion Blur: MegaPov vs. Overlaying Multiple Pictures

Hello to all train heads, since some life has returned to Lugnet.trains, I may use this opportunity to give a little info on my latest render experience. (...) Thanks Tim! Never heard about "Image Magick" before, so this tip was very helpful. Mostly I use IrfanView for all simple transformations. (URL) had a look into the compose-area and that should offer what I am looking for. Great! Leg Godt! Ben (13 years ago, 20-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

Rob, have you heard about "Blender"? That appears to be more professional and some claim it to be faster. I myself have not tried yet.... I do not even know how to export *.ldr to other laguages than *.pov. I still stay with PovRay, since I have the (...) (13 years ago, 21-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

Hello Lugnet Trains! Writing answers on your own post might be considered as bad style (like uploading fuzzy megapixel pictures displaying mainly untidy LEGO building tables); but now that fun has returned to Lugnet I dare to do... :-)) If you like (...)
