Re: Electronic Control unit for train in 1969

(...) I "always" loved those early high tech inventions into a Lego theme, but to be honest: I heard about these trains just 4 years ago too. They seem to have been really bad sellers (and lots of Co-Afols could buy them even in the middle of the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Caster Substitute

While there is some discussion on robot bases, let me add a bit about the "third wheel", usually a caster, used on differential drive systems. Casters have the advantage that they are plentiful, cheap, and come in lots of sizes and configurations. (...) (29 years ago, 7-Feb-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Wow! New Train Engine Pics

(...) Wow! That's how a steam engine has to look like! Ross has used some very clever building techniques and as aresult his engine catches the appearence of the real one very well. (...) You serious? What circumstances cannot allow lego to sell through the retail outlet, but not online? Since the last time I checked, the only way to get some legends sets or accessory packs was to fly to tbe nearest lego land, or buy online. A (...)   Re: Technic is Alive !!!! ( My thoughts)

  Say it ain't so...

Yeah, I knew this question was going to be asked sooner or later, so I guess I'll have to ask it now. You see, I took a trip to my local wal-mart the other day to pick up some school supplies (and hopefully some extra sets to stock up on), when I (...) (...) Well, this is particularly new for me, because I don't go a a TRU every other weekend. Even during the holiday season, It's hard to find good sets at a decent price.
