  The legendary set 383 reloaded....

Hi all! after my first pair of oldtimer trucks got highlighted, here is the next MOC of that theme: this time I rebuilt the legendary set 383 from 1973. But I did some modest modification to the up-to-date piece assortment of course... Again I tried (...)   Scanning HOWTO

Seeing that many enthusiast scans of Lego instruction sheets on PICSL and elsewhere on the Internet are sadly lacking in quality, I wrote this tutorial to explain how to do it right, and why: (URL) is a bit long (4 pages), but it's not dead simple (...)   Re: Dear NNTP users,

  Re: Dear NNTP users,

Suz, I use NNTP almost exclusively. As others have pointed out, the new web forums (such as that used on legofan.org) are somewhat spiffy, but I find them slow and cumbersome. With NNTP I can quickly scan what is new across a relatively flat list of (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jul-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Dear NNTP users,

For those of you using newsreaders, I have a few questions. I'm curious: what other sorts of stuff do you follow via newsreader? Anything cool? (...) Hi James, that is right: the shovels have an overhanging of a quarter of the height of an plate which is in metric system 1/4 x 3.2 mm = 0.8 mm per each waggon side. This is a very useful side effect, because by doing so I can put plates (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)
