  Re: Questions: K8s? Event kits?

(...) LEGO is not supplying one to the fest as far as I know, and I believe PNLTC has not yet made the decision on whether to make theirs available on loan. (...) It's not clear that there will be trading opportunities. I would not count on it (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: KKK described latest restructuring as "last chance" for Lego in FT article

(...) I've noticed the same thing. I generally take a minute to spread the offending material as far as possible from the good stuff, so it's clear what's what, but it's a losing proposition in the long run, since it gets mixed up before I leave the (...)   Re: The Lego Mecha Hall of Fame - What do you think?

(...) I suppose back then we didn't know how to put it politely. TBH, I think we also liked the mystery. Perhaps now it should be made more clear for the present times. Remember when Shazam visited the "Elders". (...) Thank you. (...) Question is: (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Toys R US sale...

I'm not quite sure how extensive this sale is for, but I seen that the new Strata Tubs are $20 CDN ($10 off). I think most Toys R US are still trying to clear their remaining Cloud Cars (3.99 CDN) and Sopwith Camels ($19.99 CDN) among some of the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Looks like a big cat of some kind...

(...) Thanks Paul, and I agree about the windshield thing. That was one of the hardest parts of designing this beast - I came close to sculpting one with clear plates, but luckily I found that this part combo works fairly well. An odd-width angled (...) Hmmmm. Interesting . . . Then maybe he didn't use superglue, because I definately see some residue on some of the loose bricks I was able to pry apart.   Re: Classic Space Rocket Train
