| | Re: Hogwarts Express train - collaboration with James Mathis
|
| (...) Nice effort, Tim and James. This is especially interesting to me (and Ross) because we (in the sense that I acquire the needed bricks and he assembles them;-) have studied the Hogwarts Express at length, from finding pics and schematics online (...) | | Who's signed up for this?
|
| I've been talking with the LLC people and they're wondering who's signed up for this so they could possibly do some interviews with you all. Anyone interested in being on TV to talk about LEGO bricks and is also participating in the model builder (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.legoland.california)

| | Re: Micro FAQ?
|
| Hey Suz, Just my humble opinion, but I think microscale just means any scale smaller than minifig (or, perhaps, smaller than the old 1970's town scale). For instance, see these three interpretations of the same castle at three different scales by (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

| | Re: Finds at Orlando PaB

I have found in dealing with the two outlets here in Virginia and the Orlando store that sometimes the bins are not refilled but there is an ample supply in the (...) | I've been making progress on SSClagorpion draft 1..... Inchworm ( (URL) ), Quad242 ( (URL) ) and Hes363 are precursors to SSC in many ways. On Inchworm I invented an asynchronous design technique for creating pneumatic circuits with complex (...) (19 years ago, 5-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

| | Re: Errors compiling threads
|

Finally, by consulting BrickOS documentation I found out the new syntax for the old "sys_time" command (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | Have PAB Question
|
| I haven't gone to the park in about a month or so and am wondering if the park still has any old dark gray plates available? 1x (1x2, 1x3, etc.) and 2x (2x2, 2x3, etc.) plate sizes are what I'm looking for. Thanks, Adr. (19 years ago, 3-Aug-05, to lugnet.legoland.california)

I've also noticed that the LEGO sets aren't (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| Thanks everybody for your appreciation. As was pointed out the black 1x1x2/3 slopes currently exist only in the (URL) 4418 Dino Pod>, which contains three of them. So that would be a lot of Dino Pods! In my defense I can say that I sort of expect (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Hogwarts Express train - collaboration with James Mathis
